From the moment I stepped foot on the grounds of the beautiful Villa in San Juan Capistrano and looked around at what Valerie had designed for her wedding, I couldn't wait to blog about it. Get comfortable, kids - this is gonna be a long one:
I started out shooting a few quick details in the bridal room as Valerie and her bridesmaids started getting ready.
Roni and his groomsmen were relaxing upstairs playing pool and having a few beers to warm up for the big day. Had just enough time to shoot a few quick detail shots upstairs before
After seeing that the bride and groom needed a little more time to themselves before getting ready, my second shooter, William Wallace (yes, that IS his real name) and I headed to another room on the grounds to shoot more detail shots. Take a look at these amazing antique-themed decorations:
A great idea for guiding guests to their tables!
The floral arrangements were incredible as well, some of the nicest I've ever seen as a matter of fact:
And how about a quick glance at the cake?
Time to check in on the bride and groom to capture a few images of them getting ready for the ceremony:
Valerie was getting a few sneak peeks out at the growing crowd near at the ceremony site! She may even have seen Roni without his knowing...
At last, it was time for the beautiful outdoor ceremony:
The cocktail hour started off with signature drinks in mason jars! A key lime pie cocktail, are you serious? It was amazing.
The grand entrance!
I've seen a lot of emotional father/daughter dances but this one...tears were streaming.
And it's cake time!
He took it like a man
A beautiful end to an incredibly beautiful wedding. Congratulations, Valerie & Roni!
